After years of agnosticism, Ted Cooper Jr felt led to read the entire Bible – twelve pages a day for ninety days. Halfway through he became a believer. He finished the reading… a life transformed.
When he shared the experience, no one asked why he read the Bible.
Everyone asked how.
That question sparked a bigger calling.
It worked—people were finishing the entire Bible, many for the first time.
Momentum grew quickly:
What started as a simple method was becoming a movement.
Over the next several years, churches, prisons, small groups, and individuals in 49 states and 20 countries participated.
Completion rates regularly exceeded 54%, with some churches reaching 80%. These results far exceeded the estimated 1% who complete the reading on their own.
A sudden health crisis in 2012 forced Ted to step away, and the ministry merged with another organization. Its impact declined sharply.
Attempts to revive the curriculum through the successor ministry failed. A smattering of churches occasionally offered the course, but in today’s world, the question was…
Would churches still want to read the entire Bible together?
Mandarin Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville, FL became a test case. When Pastor Andrew Stepp invited his congregation to read the entire Bible with him, he hoped 100 would join him. Instead, over 600 did. And the vast majority finished.
It was clear: The model still works. The hunger for Scripture hasn’t faded.
New name. New team. Same life-changing purpose.

We’re gathering a small number of churches and groups to join our first beta cohort in January 2026 and help shape the future of 90 Day Bible Journey. If you’re ready for a guided, community-centered reading of the entire Bible, we’d love to start the conversation.
